Alyssa Anderson scored her third goal of the season to lead Sacramento State to a 1-0 victory over San José State on Sunday. A sophomore forward from Santa Rosa, Calif., Anderson scored in the 71st minute against the Spartans off an assist from senior Raylene Larot and has three goals in her last two matches after missing the beginning of the season due to injury. She also had one shot in 82 minutes played in Friday's overtime loss, 1-0, to UNLV. An all-Big Sky honorable mention selection as a freshman in 2012, Anderson leads the Big Sky with two game winning goals and is tied for second in the conference with three goals this season despite playing in only four matches. She also leads the Hornets in shots on goal (4).
