Steve Kutsch and Justine Rea led the Hornets at the Doc Adams Invitational.
DAVIS, Calif. — A limited number of Sacramento State cross country runners competed at the Doc Adams Invitational hosted by UC Davis on Saturday at Putah Creek Reserve.
The Hornet men were represented by three runners. Steve Kutsch led the trip with a time of 25:26 over the 8K course to place 23rd. Ben Rinn was close behind in 25:54 to finish 38th. Myko Lucas completed the group by placing 40th with a time of 26:04.
Four women competed for Sacramento State which was led by Justine Rea. The freshman ran 22:44 to place 20th. Jenni Eiremo ran 23:01 and was 25th. Dominique Ratto completed the 6K race in 23:39 to place 34th. The final competitor for the team was Athena Gillen who was 47th in 25:23.
Sacramento State will complete its season on Saturday, Nov. 13, at the NCAA West Regional in Eugene, Ore.
