Dominic Vogl led the men’s team by finishing 10th overall in 24:46. Sophomore Dan Carlson was second on the team, and 16th overall, in a time of 25:15 which matched his previous best. Jose Garcia was 18th in 25:16 and freshman Jeffrey Paneda ran 25:27 to place 24th. Colin Szehner, who had missed the last month due to injury, returned to run 25:39 (30th) and complete the scorers. Also recording career bests were Jason Sey (38th, 25:58) and Garrett Infausto (44th, 26:10).

The Hornet women were led by Kristina Holtz who ran 17:53 and finished 10th overall. Kathryn Cunningham was 47th overall in 18:48 while Erin Wachter was 51st in 18:54. Sacramento State also counted the times of freshman Mary Wagner (58th, 19:01) and Grecia Garcia (70th, 19:14). Freshman Beatirce Mireles also set a career best by running 19:25 to place 77th

Overall, the Hornet men finished third overall with 87 points. Stanford won the men’s title with 30 points and was followed by UC Davis (66). Cal State Fullerton was fourth with 92 and Westmont rounded out the top five with 134.

The women’s team title went to Stanford which tallied 68 points. San Francisco was second with 99 and was followed by UC Davis (110). Host Santa Clara and Cal State Fullerton tied for fourth place with 111 points. Sacramento State was ninth overall with 219.
