2010 Season: Paced Sacramento State in the first two meets of the season…finished fifth at the Hornet Jamboree with a 4-mile time of 20:22…was 12th at the UC Riverside Invitational in 24:34.4…competed in five meets overall.

2009 Season: Competed in six meets…led the team at the Hornet Jamboree and placed fourth overall with a 4-mile time of 19:54…was second on the team in three other meets…best 8K time was 24:46 at Santa Clara where he placed eighth overall.

2008 Season: Ran five meets during his freshman season…ran 25:20 at the Big Sky Championships for his best 8K time…that mark ranks eighth in school history at the meet.

High School: Graduated from Woodcreek HS in 2008…earned all-state honors as a senior…finished sixth at the Div. II state meet in 2007…was the Sierra Foothill League champion in 2006 and 2007…helped lead the team to a pair of SFL titles and the 2007 Sac-Joaquin Section crown…top track times were 2:00.09 in the 800, 4:03.01 in the 1500 and 8:47.57 in the 3000.

Personal: Born June 28, 1990…has yet to declare a major…parents are Luis and Maria Romo.
