ENTRY INFORMATION NOW AVAILABLE FOR HORNET JAMBOREE

 SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Meet information for the annual Sacramento State Hornet Jamboree is now available. The meet will take place on Saturday, Sept. 11, and features seven races at Granite Regional Park.
The day begins with with the 2-mile open high school race at 7:50 a.m. That race will be followed by freshman/sophomore boys and girls events. The 5K boys varsity race begins at 8:30 a.m. with the girls taking the course immediately afterward.
The women's collegiate race is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. The men's race will get underway at 10 a.m. and cover four miles. Both races are available to open competitors.
The entry fee for open athletes is $20 and must be paid prior to the start of the race.
Last season, Stephanie Wilson of Santa Clara won the women's race with a time of 17:23. Jon Peterson of UC Davis was the men's champion in 19:34.
