WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY EARNS USTFCCCA ACADEMIC AWARD

NEW ORLEANS —
The Sacramento State women’s cross country team earned all-academic honors by the United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association after posting a cumulative team GPA of 3.09.
 
The team was led by five Big Sky Conference all-academic selections, comprised of Breanna LewisTeresa MalloryJustine ReaAdrianna Royal, and Veronica Stinnett.
 
A total of 205 institutions qualified for USTFCCCA all-academic cross country status, representing 30 conferences. The Big East Conference led the way with 14 schools, followed by 11 from the Pac-12. The Big Sky Conference was represented by six institutions.
 
To be qualified as a USTFCCCA all-academic cross country team, the team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better and have started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship.
