  • CROSS COUNTRY COMPLETES SEASON AT NCAA WEST REGIONAL

    Amy Quinones and Elijah Changco completed their 2017 cross country where they have all year long, leading the Hornet women’s and men’s team at the NCAA West Regional on Friday. The Sacramento State women finished in 22nd place while the men’s team was 23rd.
  • MEN FINISH EIGHTH, WOMEN 10TH AT BIG SKY CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

    The Sacramento State men’s cross country team placed eighth and the women’s team finished in 10th place at the Big Sky Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Riverside Golf Club.
  • CROSS COUNTRY TO COMPETE AT BIG SKY CHAMPIONSHIPS ON SATURDAY

    The Sacramento State men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete at the Big Sky Conference Championships on Saturday which will be hosted by Weber State. The meet will take place at Schneiter's Riverside Golf Course in Ogden, Utah. The women’s 5K race will begin at 10 a.m. PT and the men’s 8K race will start at 10:45 a.m. PT.
  • QUINONES, CHANGCO LEAD CROSS COUNTRY AT THE BRONCO INVITATIONAL

    The Sacramento State men’s cross country finished in 10th place and the women were 11th at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational on Saturday at Baylands Park. The meet was moved forward one hour to help improve air quality caused by the recent fires in Northern California.
  • CHANGCO, QUINONES LEAD CROSS COUNTRY AGAIN AT CAPITAL CROSS CHALLENGE

    For the second time in as many weeks. Elijah Changco and Amy Quinones posted the fastest times for the Sacramento State men’s and women’s cross country teams. Competing at the Capital Cross Challenge at Haggin Oaks, the Hornet men finished in fifth place while the women were 10th.
  • CROSS COUNTRY HOSTS CAPITAL CROSS CHALLENGE ON SATURDAY AT HAGGIN OAKS

    The Sacramento State cross country teams will get to compete at home this weekend at Capital Cross Challenge on Saturday, Sept. 30, at Haggin Oaks Golf Course. The men's 8K race will start at 9:50 a.m. while the women's 5K competition will get under way at 10:30.
  • TRACK & FIELD/CROSS COUNTRY TAKES PART IN PAIR OF COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS

    The Sacramento State men's and women's track and field teams participated in two community service projects this month. The team was involved in the Great American River Parkway Clean-Up and the Walk to End Alzheimer's. These two events are just the latest outreach project for the team who also assist annually with the Super Bowl Run on campus and the California International Marathon.

  • MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY OPENS SEASON WITH WIN AT AGGIE OPEN, WOMEN FINISH SECOND

    The Sacramento State men’s cross country had four of the top six finishers to win the team title at the Aggie Open on Saturday on the Putah Creek Reserve Course. The Hornet women finished second.
