2007 Season
Made a huge splash in her first and only season with the Hornets after transferring from Saint Mary’s...named Big Sky Tournament MVP, first team all-conference, Big Sky Newcomer of the Year and AVCA honorable mention all-Pacific Region after averaging 5.30 kills, 4.40 digs and 0.43 aces per game...her 5.30 kills per game ranked as the ninth best mark in the nation...her total of 710 kills are the second best single-season mark in Big Sky history, and third best in Sacramento State program history...named Big Sky Player of the Week five times, the most in the conference this year and tied for the most weekly awards ever by a Sacramento State player (Lisa Beauchene in 2003)...named AVCA National Player of the Week on Sept. 17, becoming the first Hornet to receive the honor since the program joined the Div. I ranks...easily led the Big Sky with 30 double-doubles (kills and digs)...among conference leaders, she ranked second in kills, aces and points (5.94 per game), and fourth in digs...had 17 matches with at least 20 kills, including 21 against Eastern Washington in the Big Sky Tournament semifinals and 29 against Portland State in the championship match despite both lasting just three games...also had a match-high 21 kills in the Hornets’ NCAA Tournament first-round victory over Minnesota...had 30-plus kills on three occasions.
Prior to Sacramento State
Played three years at Saint Mary's in Moraga, Calif. (2004-06)...named all-West Coast Conference every year (first team in 2005; honorable mention in 2004 and 2006)...a three-year starter at outside hitter for the Gaels, she started 81 matches and appeared in 304 total games...posted three-year combined totals of 3.26 kills, 3.31 digs, 0.54 blocks and 0.32 aces per game to go along with a .202 hitting percentage...as a sophomore in 2005, she finished the year first on the Gaels with 4.64 kills and 3.08 digs per game...finished West Coast Conference play with 4.77 kills and 5.69 points per game, both conference bests...had 31 kills against Utah State and 30 digs against Virginia, becoming the only Div. I player to record at least 30 kills and 30 digs in a match during the 2005 season...among team leaders as a junior in 2006, she finished first in total attacks (911) and kills per game (3.69), and second in digs (2.74) and points (4.2 per game)...as a freshman in 2004, she played in a team-high 110 games while leading the team and ranking seventh in the conference with 3.99 digs per game...her 439 digs set a new school record...had 12 kills, 24 digs and four blocks in a 3-1 victory over Sacramento State in the first round of the 2004 NCAA Tournament.
High School
A 2004 graduate of Buchanan High School in Clovis, Calif...spent her junior and senior years at Buchanan after going to Kerman High School her first two years...lettered three years in volleyball...led Buchanan to the 2003 Valley Championship her senior year and finished runner-up her junior season...named first team all-league in 2001, 2002 and 2003...named league's Most Valuable Player in 2002...she was named to the Durango and Clovis all-tournament teams her senior season and was also named to the all-Metro team...also recruited out of high school by Oregon State, San Diego, Pepperdine, Texas and Miami.

Born June 6, 1986...parents are Dean Stidham and Cathi Helms...a communication studies major...member of the USA Select Team that traveled with the Argentina National Team for 10 days last May.
