2007 Season
Appeared in 36 matches, including 24 starts on the right side...averaged 0.97 kills, 0.49 digs and 0.56 blocks per game...had a season-high nine kills at Northern Colorado...also posted a season-high six blocks at Eastern Washington...tallied six kills, three blocks and a .462 hitting percentage at Portland State...held without a kill in just two matches during the year.

2006 Season
Appeared in 19 matches, including 27 games...averaged 0.74 kills and 0.56 digs per game...had at least one kill in 12 matches...including a season-high three kills and a .600 hitting percentage (3-0-5) in a home victory against Eastern Washington...had two kills, a .500 hitting percentage (2-0-4) and three digs at Montana.

High School
A 2006 graduate of West Valley High School in Cottonwood, Calif...a four-sport star, she competed in four years of volleyball, basketball and softball, and three years of track...as a senior in volleyball, she was named the Northern Athletic League MVP after leading West Valley to a 43-3 record (including a 35-match winning streak), a Northern Section Div. III championship and an appearance in the state playoffs...a three-time all-league selection, she was the starting outside hitter for each of West Valley’s league championships over her final three years (2003-05)...as a senior, she was also named the Northern Section MVP by the Redding Record Searchlight after finishing the season with a .329 hitting percentage, 340 kills, 443 digs, 49 blocks and 189 service aces...using a jump serve, she averaged 4.1 aces per match, which ranked as the second-best mark in the state...the 443 digs were the fifth-highest mark in the section.

Personal
Born Oct. 20, 1988...parents are David and Elissa Hoyum...a kinesiology major...played for the Shasta Creations (Redding, Calif.), the same program that produced former Hornets Lindsay Haupt and Jennifer Ferguson.
