2007 Season
One of four players on the team to start all 37 matches...a second team all-Big Sky selection after averaging 12.61 assists, 2.42 digs and 0.75 blocks per game...also hit .247...the assists per game are more than one full assist better than any other player in the Big Sky...the 12.61 assists per game were the 39th best mark in the nation...her 1,702 assists this season are the fourth best mark in Sacramento State single-season history...had 40-plus assists in six of her last seven matches of the season, and 27 times overall...had 11 matches with double figures in digs, and her 11 double-doubles were tied for the eighth best mark in the Big Sky...narrowly missed her first career tripe-double in victory over Cal State Northridge with 52 assists, nine digs and a career-high nine blocks...her 3,162 career assists are the fifth best mark in program history.

2006 Season

Appeared in all 123 games during the season, including 34 starts...one of two setters on the team (Melissa Melcher) as the Hornets ran a 6-2 offense the majority of the season...averaged 8.87 assists and 2.68 digs per game...has 19 matches with double figures in digs, including a career-high 18 in the
Big Sky Tournament championship match against Eastern Washington...tied for second in the Big Sky with 19 double-doubles...second on the team with 34 aces...had a career-high five aces against Southeast Missouri State...raised her numbers to 9.28 assists and 3.19 digs per game against Big Sky competition...had at least 10 digs in 12 of the last 16 matches, including 15 against both Montana and Montana State...tallied 51 assists, 15 digs and four blocks vs. San Francisco.

2005 Season

Appeared in 19 matches during her first year of intercollegiate play...started the team’s first six matches of the season at setter...finished the regular season with averages of 8.39 assists, 1.50 digs and 0.45 blocks per game...also hit .241...had a season-best 59 assists against 24th-ranked Long Beach State...had four blocks on three occasions...tallied 44 assists, four blocks and a season-best 11 digs against 18th-ranked San Diego...in the Hornets’ victory over Bucknell, Burke posted two kills, a .500 hitting percentage, two aces, four digs and two blocks in two games...had double figures in assists on 11 occasions...tallied a season-high three aces in the Hornets’ victory over Long Island...recorded 10 digs vs. Duke...one of four Hornets named to the Big Sky All-Academic Team.

High School
A 2005 graduate of Gainesville High School...member of both the volleyball and weight lifting team all four years...as the team’s setter, she led the Hurricanes to 4A state championships in both 2003 and 2004 as the team combined for a 62-2 record during those two seasons...was the starting varsity setter all four years and was a four-time all-state and all-area selection...named first team all-state and first team all-area in both 2003 (junior) and 2004 (senior)...received MVP honors at the 4A state finals in 2003...during her junior season, she posted 998 assists, 45 blocks and 197 digs...named the Gainesville High School Athlete of the Year as a senior and was named to the Gainesville High School Athletic Hall of Fame...at the weight lifting state tournament in 2005, she bench pressed 130 pounds and lifted 135 pounds in the clean-and-jerk.

Personal
Born June 14, 1987...parents are Clifford and Stacey Burke...a liberal studies major...played six years of club volleyball (2000-05) for the Gainesville Juniors...that team qualified for and competed in the Open Division at nationals from 2002-05...seven of her club teammates have or are currently playing collegiate volleyball at the Div. I level.
