Appeared in 20 matches (including three starts) and 56 sets played, primarily at left back…averaged 1.16 digs per set…in the first start of her career, she posted season highs in assists (3), aces (3) and digs (13) at home against Idaho State…had at least seven digs in five straight matches…had a .951 service reception percentage, and did not have a reception error in the final nine matches in which she appeared…finished the season with seven aces, including one in each of the team’s final four matches of the year.
A 2012 graduate of Rocklin High School…played four years of volleyball, including the last three seasons as a starting outside hitter with the varsity squad…also played a year of softball for the Thunder…in volleyball, she was a three-time first team all-Sierra Foothill League selection, and two-time first team all-Metro choice…as a senior, she was also named the league’s co-MVP after finishing the year with averages of 2.4 kills, 2.2 digs and 0.4 aces per set…all three of those marks ranked in the top five among league leaders…Rocklin won a conference championship all three years of her varsity career, combining for a 107-21 overall record and a 30-3 league mark over that time…the Thunder won a Sac-Joaquin Section Div. II championship in 2010, and finished as the runner-up in 2011…was the team captain her senior season…inducted into the Rocklin High School Hall of Fame in 2012.
Parents are Steve and Becki Ivy…a psychology major…played three years for the Northern California Volleyball Club, which included a seventh-place finish at nationals in 2009…one of her coaches on NCVC was former Sacramento State volleyball player Kristi Lambert Deter.
