Appeared in one match…posted one kill (in one attempt) to go along with a block in the Hornets’ home win over Weber State on Oct. 9.

High School
A 2010 graduate of Woodside High School in Woodside, Calif…played four years of volleyball and one season of basketball…played on the outside and in the middle with the volleyball squad…was a three-time all-Peninsula Athletic League selection, including a first team choice as a junior and senior, and second team as a sophomore…team captain of the 2009 squad…played all four years on the varsity squad, and became just the third player in Woodside High School history to play on the varsity team as a freshman…in 2007, she helped Woodside to a Peninsula Athletic League (Bay Division) championship after the team went 30-7 overall and 13-1 in league…involved in campus leadership, she was president of the Pink Ribbon Club from 2008-10.

Born May 13, 1992…parents are Per and Jenine Alftin…an undeclared major…played five years for the City Beach Volleyball Club…four of her teammates from club are/will be playing at the Div. I or Div. II level.
