2009 Season
Missed the first 21 matches of the season with a foot injury...played in four of the team’s last 11 matches, and finished with averages of 0.43 kills and 0.71 blocks per set...finished with three kills and just one error in six attempts (.333 hitting percentage)...had two kills in two attempts, as well as two blocks in a home win over Montana State...also had two blocks and her first career ace against Portland State.
2008 Season
Played in five of the team’s first seven matches of the season, before missing the final 26 with a foot injury...was granted a medical redshirt because of the injury...in those five matches, she was averaging 1.38 kills and 0.25 blocks per set to go along with a .273 hitting percentage...that included a season-high six kills, and a .750 hitting percentage (6-0-8) against San Jose State...also had five kills and a 1.000 hitting percentage against Louisiana-Monroe.
High School
A 2008 graduate of Rocklin High School...played four years of volleyball, the final three seasons on the varsity team...a two-time all-Sierra Foothill League selection (2006-07), including a first team choice during her senior season...averaged 1.7 blocks per set in 2005, which remains the third best single-season mark in school history...her 15 blocks against Loretto High School in 2005 are tied for the third best single-match record...as a senior, she helped lead the Thunder to a 34-8 overall record, an 11-2 conference mark and a fourth-place finish in the Div. II Northern California playoffs...high school teammates with fellow Hornets Kelsey Elston and Janelle Currey.
Personal
Born Feb. 20, 1990...parents are Todd and Teri Wilson...a kinesiology major...played in the summer of 2008, along with Hornet teammate Kelsey Elston, for the 18-under Gold Cal Junior Club volleyball team, coached by current Hornet head coach Ruben Volta...that team placed fifth in the American Division at the Junior Olympics...also a member of the 16-under Gold Cal Junior Club which placed third at the Junior Olympics in 2006...played for Gold Cal from 2006-08 after spending two years with the Rocklin Volleyball Club (2004-05).
