Game two remained close throughout as neither team opened a lead larger than five points. With Sacramento State leading, 29-26, the Wildcats clawed back to within 29-28 before Imrie and Beauchene combined on a block to end the game. Wright and Imrie each had five kills as the Hornets hit .294 in the frame.

Weber State opened up a 4-1 lead at the beginning of game three before the Hornets countered with a 21-8 run to take a 22-12 lead. Sacramento State cruised the rest of the way as Wright’s 19th kill of the match closed the contest.
