WOMEN'S TENNIS' SIX MATCH WIN STREAK SNAPPED AT NO. 27 ARIZONA STATE

Rebeca Delgado improved to 5-1 at No. 3 singles this season but the Hornets lost at ASU.
TEMPE, Ariz. - The No. 71 ranked Sacramento State women's tennis team saw its six match winning streak stopped, 6-1, by No. 27 ranked Arizona State on Friday afternoon at the Whiteman Tennis Center.
Sacramento State's last loss was also to a Pac-12 foe - Washington - on Feb. 10.
The Hornets (7-4) lost the doubles point as the Sun Devils (7-2) swept all three matches. Sacramento State pulled out one singles win but ASU won five.
Rebeca Delgado took down Hannah James in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, at No. 3 singles while Sophie Lohscheidt and Maria Meliuk forced third sets but both were defeated.
Sacramento State plays again tomorrow at No. 29 Arizona. The Hornets complete their roadtrip on Sunday at Northern Arizona for a Big Sky Conference dual.
