MONTANA STATE BEATS MONTANA; VOLLEYBALL ELIMINATED FROM PLAYOFFS
The Sacramento State volleyball squad’s playoff hopes came down to the final day of the regular season tonight, and the outcome did not go the Hornets’ way as Montana State defeated Montana in four sets (25-22, 23-25, 25-18, 28-26) to claim the sixth and final spot into the Big Sky Tournament.

The Sacramento State volleyball squad (9-15, 5-9) concludes its season-long four-match homestand this week against Northern Colorado on Thursday night (7 p.m.) and North Dakota on Saturday afternoon (1 p.m.). Saturday’s match is part of a doubleheader on campus that will see the Hornet football team host Montana State at 4 p.m.
