WOMEN'S TENNIS SWEEPS EASTERN WASHINGTON

Rebeca Delgado won at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles vs. Eastern Washington.

CHENEY, Wash. - The Sacramento State women's tennis team won its 93rd straight Big Sky Conference match in dominating fashion, 7-0, over Eastern Washington on Friday night at the Jim Thorpe Fieldhouse.

In addition to 93 straight conference dual match wins, the Hornets have won 11 straight Big Sky regular season and tournament titles.

The Hornets (1-3, 1-0 Big Sky) won each singles match in straight sets, except at No. 1, where Rebeca Delgado overcame a first set loss to win.

Sacramento State saw three freshmen each win singles matches, with Jennifer Nguyen claiming a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 3, Olivia Boija triumphing 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 and Saskia Angerer pulling out a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 6.

Sacramento State also swept the doubles point.
