Katharina Knoebl won both of her singles and doubles matches against Nevada.
SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The No. 55 ranked Sacramento State women's tennis won a neutral site match against Nevadan, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon at the University of San Diego's West Tennis Courts.
The Hornets (9-6) swept the doubles point from the Wolf Pack (3-6) and won five of the six singles matches.
Katharina Knoebl and Sophie Lohscheidt were dominant at No. 3 doubles, winning 8-0.
Knoebl and Maria Meliuk were equally impressive in singles play as both won by 6-1, 6-1 scores. Rebeca Delgado, Clarisse Baca and Sophie Lohscheidt also won their singles matches in straight sets. The only loss was at No. 1 singles.
Sacramento State will stay in SoCal to play USD tomorrow.
