WOMEN'S TENNIS DEFEATS UC DAVIS, PORTLAND STATE IN DOUBLEHEADER SWEEP

Sophie Lohscheidt was a perfect 4-0 in her two singles and double matches on Friday.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento State women's tennis team knocked off Big Sky Conference foe Portland State, 7-0, in the morning and completed the sweep by traveling to UC Davis and defeating the rival Aggies, 5-2, on Friday afternoon.

The Hornets (4-3, 1-0 Big Sky) have won three straight matches and took 10-of-12 singles matches and all six doubles matches in the two duals combined on Friday.

Portland State slides to 1-6 (0-2 Big Sky) with the loss while UC Davis stumbles to 3-7.

Tatsiana Kapshai, Sophie Lohscheidt, Katharina Knoebl and Maria Meliuk each won both of their singles matches in straight sets.
