WOMEN'S TENNIS DEFEATS FRESNO STATE IN THRILLER 2/4/2012 Rebeca Delgado's win at No. 2 singles clinched the Hornets' victory over Fresno State. SACRAMENTO, Calif. - It came down to the last singles match of the day, but Rebeca Delgado pulled out a win at No. 2 singles to give the Hornets a 4-3 victory over Fresno State on Saturday afternoon at the Rio Del Oro RC. With the match tied up, Delgado won the third set of her singles match on a 9-7 tiebreaker. Clarisse Baca and Maria Meliuk also won their singles matches after the Hornets swept the doubles point. Up next for the Hornets is a trip to the Evergreen State as Sacramento State will make up a pair of postponed matches against Washington and Washington State next weekend.
