WOMEN'S TENNIS BREEZES THROUGH MONTANA STATE IN BIG SKY TOURNAMENT SEMIS

BOZEMAN, Mont. - The Sacramento State women's tennis team, the 10-time defending Big Sky Conference regular season champions - cruised past Montana State with a 4-0 win over the Bobcats on Friday night in the semifinals of the conference tournament at the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center.
No. 48 ranked Sacramento State improved to 18-8 on the season and has now won an amazing 81 straight Big Sky dual matches, including both regular and postseason. The Hornets will play the winner of the Northern Arizona/Montana match tomorrow in the conference tournament championship.
The Hornets captured victories at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles to earn the first point of the match. Sacramento State then cruised to straight set wins at Nos. 2, 3 and 4 singles to move onto Sunday's championship match.
Clarisse Baca's straight-sets win at No. 4 is her 11th consecutive dual match singles win.
