Katharina Knoebl won her singles and doubles matches but the Hornets lost at UC Irvine.
IRVINE, Calif. - The No. 29 ranked Sacramento State women's tennis team dropped a non-conference dual match to UC Irvine, 5-2, on Friday afternoon at the Anteater Tennis Complex.
The Hornets drop to 6-2 (1-0 Big Sky) with the loss while UC Irvine, fresh off an upset of No. 39 ranked Boston College, improves to 6-7 (1-2 Big West).
