WOMEN'S TENNIS ROLLS EASTERN WASHINGTON, IMPROVES TO 5-0 IN CONFERENCE PLAY

Rebeca Delgado cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles as the Hornets swept EWU.
CHENEY, Wash. - The Sacramento State women's tennis team improved to 5-0 in Big Sky Conference play with a 7-0 victory versus Eastern Washington at the Jim Thorpe Fieldhouse.
The No. 46 ranked Hornets improve to 12-8 (5-0 Big Sky) with the win while the Eagles fall to 5-14 (1-4) with the loss. The Hornets have won six of their last nine matches.
Sacramento State has now won 77 straight matches against Big Sky Conference foes (regular season and conference tournament matches included).
Sacramento State has been dominate in conference play this season, losing just one singles match and no doubles matches in the four previous league duals. Sunday against Eastern Washington was more of the same.
The Hornets rolled through three doubles matches by a combined 24-4 score.
In singles, Sacramento State won all six matches in straight sets, including Rebeca Delgado's 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2.
The Hornets play their final home match of the 2011 season on Friday afternoon versus Denver. Then Sacramento State will play three straight conference matches before ending the regular season at Oregon.
