WOMEN’S TENNIS BIG SKY REGIONALS SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sacramento State will host the women’s tennis Big Sky Regional Tournament at Rio Del Oro Raquet Club in Sacramento, Calif. The tournament is scheduled over three days beginning Friday, April 12 with round robin play.

The tournament will continue through the weekend with games at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Sacramento State will be hosting Northern Arizona, Portland State and Weber State for the Pacific region of the Big Sky Conference.

Sacramento State leads the way going into the tournament with a season record of 15-3. Northern Arizona has a record of 13-8 for the season heading into the Big Sky Regionals. Portland State is 3-17 with a tournament in Portland and a match against San Francisco still to play. Weber State’s record for the season is 4-9 with one match left against Idaho State.

Practice time for the teams is available on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sacramento State head coach Bill Campbell is the contact for practice times.

DIRECTIONS TO RIO DEL ORO RACQUET CLUB:

From San Francisco: I-80 East to Sacramento, take US-50 East in Sacramento going toward Placerville and Tahoe; take the Howe/Power Inn Exit and turn left at the stop light. Turn right on American River Drive, then left at the next street, Scripps Drive. Rio Del Oro Racquet Club will be the second building on your right.
