SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Caitlin Pulver scored her fourth goal of the season but the Sacramento State women's soccer team could not capitalize on late chances and the Hornets recorded their first draw of the season, 1-1, against Northern Arizona on Friday afternoon in a Big Sky Conference match.

The Hornets (6-7-1, 2-1-1 Big Sky) had a whopping 9-0 advantage in corner kicks and 19-10 edge in shots but could not get another shot past NAU keeper Lauren Weaver, who tallied nine saves.

The Lumberjacks (2-8-6, 1-1-2) forced Sacramento State keeper Savannah Abercrombie to tally seven saves but they could not earn a second goal as well.

In the 25th minute, NAU's Jenna Samora and Sam Monahan were two-on-two in a breakaway up the middle of the field. Monahan played a through ball to the right side of the box where Samora fired a shot across the net to the far post for her third goal of the season.

The Lumberjack lead was short-lived, however, as just over a minute later Pulver tallied the equalizer.

Victoria Ramirez dribbled the ball down the near sideline toward the end line before booting a cross back to the top of the box where Pulver collected the ball and slotted a shot through the defense to near post. Pulver's fourth goal puts her second on the team, behind just Ramirez who has six scores this season.

Up next, Sacramento State will honor their six seniors -  Shea RobertsLaura BahnoPaige TuckerKrystal Moreno, Abercrombie and Pulver - on Sunday in a Senior Celebration at 1 p.m. versus Northern Colorado.
