AS A SENIOR (2008)
Was limited to five matches due to injury...made lone start of the season on senior day against Montana on Oct. 19.
AS A JUNIOR (2007)
Appeared in 18 contests, starting nine, before suffering a knee injury prior to the Big Sky Tournament...scored two goals on the season, pushing her career total to six...strong with either leg, Phillips was the Hornets’ designated penalty-kicker, connecting on Sacramento State’s only attempt of the season against Menlo on Sept. 23.
2006 SEASON
Took a medical redshirt after suffering a knee injury before the start of the season.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2005)
Had another standout season playing in the midfield and on the forward line...appeared in all 19 matches, starting 12...finished second on the team in scoring with three goals and three assists...tallied her first assist on Linda Sanchez’s game winner in the Hornets’ 1-0 shutout of Fresno State on Sept. 4...had her best match of the year in Sacramento State’s 2-1 victory over Idaho....during that match scored the game-tying goal in the 68th minute before assisting on Katie McCoy’s game winner in the 84th minute...took 20 shots during the year, placing eight on goal...named Big Sky all-academic.
AS A FRESHMAN (2004)
A tremendous addition for the Hornets playing in the central midfield and also on the wing...started the last 11 matches of the season and played in a total of 16...scored her first collegiate goal at Weber State on Oct. 23...finished the season with two points and 11 shots, seven on goal...also received Big Sky all-academic honors.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2004 graduate of El Toro HS in Lake Forest, Calif...competed in four years of soccer and track for the Chargers in the South Coast League...in soccer, she was named team captain as a senior...earned team MVP honors after tallying 11 goals as a sophomore...received the Excellence Award for Girls Athletics, the Gene Autry Humanitarian Award, the Senior Award and the 2003-04 Athlete of the Year award in 2004...a member of the San Diego Spirit club team...led the Crusaders to a Crusaders Cup, Sun and Surf Cup and Irvine Cup title in 2003.
