AS A SENIOR (2006)
One of four players to start all 21 matches this season...continued her career as the program’s starting left midfielder...one of the team’s toughest tacklers and deadliest crossers of the ball, Murphy provided four assists during the season, improving her career total to 12, tying for third in program history...assisted on Sarah Howard’s goal against Idaho State in the Big Sky Championship match...her corner kick set up Sarah Howard’s goal in the fifth minute in a 2-1 victory over Northern Colorado...arguably her most significant assist of ne year found Kelly Novak open in the box in a 1-0 shutout at Weber State...another one of her corners set up a score in the Hornets’ 3-2 win over Menlo.

AS A JUNIOR (2005)

Again displayed her aggressive play, starting 18 of 19 matches, mostly on the left side of midfield...her hard work on both offense and defense earned her second team all-Big Sky honors...took the majority of the team’s corners and tallied her first assist when Sarah Howard scored in the team’s 2-0 victory over Montana on Oct.9...took 25 shots on the season (14 on goal).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2004)
Moved into the central midfield from playing forward...had another solid season playing in 17 games and starting 14...registered one assist in 2004 during the first game of the season at Long Beach State.

AS A FRESHMAN (2003)
One of the squad’s top newcomers during the season...named all-Big Sky honorable mention...named Hornet Offensive Player of the Year...appeared in all 18 games, including 15 starts…tied for the team lead with five assists...ranked third with 11 points...placed fourth on the squad with three goals...recorded 29 shots (17 on goal)...scored first collegiate goal in a 3-1 win over San Jose State on Oct. 15...registered first career assist against Navy.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2003 graduate of Las Lomas HS in Walnut Creek, Calif...competed in four years of soccer and two years of track...in soccer, she was a four-year varsity starter as a defender/midfielder...led the Knights in scoring with 18 goals and eight assists as a senior...earned second team all-Diablo Foothill Athletic League and team MVP honors that same season...earned all-DFAL honorable mention and team MVP honors as a junior...in track, she garnered all-DFAL first team and team MVP honors as a sophomore...a two-year member of the California North Stars club team in Hayward, Calif...led the squad in scoring during the 2002 season.
