NORTHRIDGE, Calif.— Women's soccer lost their second game in the Big Sky
Conference with a 3-1 defeat to Cal State Northridge at North Campus
Stadium Sunday afternoon.
The Hornets are now 8-4-2 overall and 3-2 in the Big Sky.
Northridge’s Joanna Parker scored the game’s first goal in the 11th
minute from an assist by teammate Melissa Cleal. Kris Von Krog and Cleal
added goals in the 42nd and 56th minute, respectively, for the Matadors.
Sophomore forward Lisa Wrightsman, recently named Big Sky Offensive
Player of the Week, scored the Hornet’s lone goal in the 60th minute.
The team will next host Idaho State on Thursday, Oct 19, at 4 p.m.
before finishing the season against Weber State on Saturday, Oct. 21, at
3:30 p.m.
