WOMEN’S SOCCER TIES PACIFIC, 0-0, IN DOUBLE OVERTIME BATTLE

SACRAMENTO, Calif.— Hornet goalkeeper Amy Seely and Pacific goalkeeper

Megan Pickering made things difficult as the Hornets and Tigers failed

to put a ball in the net for 120 minutes on Friday afternoon at Hornet

Field.

Seely, a freshman, had a game-high seven saves en route to her second

shutout of the season, her first being a 2-0 victory over San Jose State

last Thursday at Spartan Stadium.

Pickering collected four saves for the Tigers, the sophomore now has

three shutouts on the year.

After six games, women's soccer are still undefeated at 4-0-2 and will

have a week off before looking to continue its record start.

The team will next start a four-game road trip beginning with Big Sky

action Friday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. against Northern Arizona.
