RAMIREZ, KELLOGG AMONG EIGHT TO EARN BIG SKY ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Senior Victoria Ramirez was a first team choice and freshman Kassidy Kellogg was a second team selection as eight members of the Sacramento State women's soccer team earned all-Big Sky Conference honors, the league announced on Tuesday.

Ramirez shined in her final season as she led the Hornets with 11 points and tied for the team lead in both goals (4) and assists (3). The Sacramento native scored two of her goals and tallied two of her assists in conference play. She placed 24 of her 45 shots on goal this season.
Kellogg, a defender from Sandy, Utah, was a revelation on the back line for head coach Randy Dedini. The true freshman notched the game-winning assist in the Hornets' season opener - and her first collegiate game - against Nevada on Aug. 19 and finished the year with two goals and five points on just 11 shots.
In addition to Ramirez and Kellogg, freshman McKenna Swanson, senior Megan Burg, sophomore Jessica Small, senior Jessica Castaño, senior Elece McBride and freshman Alyssa Anderson all earned honorable mention recognition.
Of all the award winners, Kellogg, Swanson, Small and Anderson will return next season.
The Big Sky selected Idaho State sophomore Amanda Ellsworth and Montana senior Erin Craig as co-Offensive MVPs, while Montana senior Lauren Costa was Defensive MVP and Northern Colorado senior Natalie D'Adamio was chosen Goalkeeper of the Year. Weber State's Chansi Crompton was named Newcomer of the Year.
