Kim-Bustillos scored her first goal of the week early in the second half against San Jose, giving her a team a 1-0 advantage in what turned into a 2-1 Hornets win.
Her second goal of the week was the game-winner in Sacramento State's 2-0 win over Toledo. The score came late in the match, breaking a scoreless tie in the 80th minute of play.
For the season, Kim-Bustillos has dominated the offensive statistical categories in the Big Sky. The junior forward leads the league in total points (13) and goals (6). Her 13 points are more than double the next player in the conference.
The offensive player of the week honor is the second of her career (also, Aug. 22, 2017).
