Prior to Sacramento State: Trained at Multnomah Athletic Club for her final two years…spent her first 10 years at Naydenov Gymnastics…was coached by Meg Doxtator and Ivan Alexov…was named MAC's gymnast of the year her final two years…helped lead the team to Oregon state titles in 2010 and 2011…in 2011, she was the Level 10 all-around regional and state champion…finished fourth at the Junior Olympics on vault…also won Level 10 regional all-around titles in 2009 and 2010.
Personal: Born Nov. 8, 1992…majoring in business administration with an emphasis in accounting…is also pursuing a minor in communication studies…is named after her great-great-great-grandmother whow as a princess in the Cowlitz Indian tribe…parents are James and Yvette McCartney…a 2011 graduate of CAM HS in Battle Ground, Wash…attended Clark College in Vancouver, Wash., while still in high school where she earned her AA.
