2009 Season: Sat out the season as a redshirt after having knee surgery.

Prior to Sacramento State: Trained at Phenom Gymnastics in Aurora, Ill…finished third at nationals in the all-around in 2007…added a fifth-place finish on beam at level 10 regionals the next year…in 2006, she was first on beam, floor and in the all-around, second on vault and fourth on bars at the level 9 state championships.

Personal: Born Feb. 10, 1990…majoring in biology…graduated from South Elgin HS in 2008…parents are Don and Silvia Gemein.
