2009 Season: Returned from injury to become a regular on beam and floor…was in the lineup on beam nine times and on floor 10 times…recorded a 9.800 on beam at the WAC Championships for her season high…on floor, she set her season best in the opener at Cal with a 9.750.
2008 Season: Competed in the season opening meet of the year against Cal State Fullerton before taking a medical redshirt…was in the lineup on beam and floor against the Titans and also performed an exhibition on vault.
2007 Season: Named first team all-WAC on beam after tying for third place at the championships with a career high 9.850…competed on beam and floor at the NCAA West Regional…walked on to the team in the fall and was a fixture on three events…was in the beam lineup for all 15 meets and averaged 9.528…had 12 floor routines and seven vaults…stepped up for the team at the start of the year and competed all-around at Alaska Anchorage…top vault was 9.600 vs. San Jose State in the home finale…her best floor score 9.575 vs. Boise State.
Prior to Sacramento State: Was a member of North Bay Athletic in Vallejo, Calif…competed in gymnastics for 14 years…was the level 10 state beam champion in 2005.
Personal: Born June 27, 1988…majoring in communication studies…would like to open her own gymnastics club…graduated from Alhambra HS in 2006…competed in cross country and track and field for the Bulldogs…was named the team’s MVP in both sports…parents are Paul and Cathy Zamolo.
