2008 Season: Took over as the leadoff gymnast in the lineup on beam in the second meet of the year and held that spot for the remainder of the season…scored at least 9.700 in five meets…top score was 9.750 in the win over Southern Utah…also competed on vault and bars…scored 9.650 on vault at the WAC Championships for her career high.

2007 Season:
Was used on bars and beam during her first collegiate season…performed exhibition on bars six times and also had one scoring routine (9.600 at Seattle Pacific)…had had three beam performances and one exhibition…top scores were 9.675 on bars vs. San Jose State and 9.625 on beam against Alaska Anchorage.

Prior to Sacramento State: Competed for the Clovis Academy of Gymnastics for 10 years…was a level 10 state and regional qualifier from 2003-06…qualified for level 9 state and regionals in 2002 and 2003…was the club’s most valuable gymnast six different years…won the Northern California Holly Balber Kemp Award in 2005 and 2006…finished third on beam at the state championships in 2006…was teammates with current Hornet Elizabeth Novell.

Personal: Born June 26, 1988…majoring in communication studies…would like to become a corporate event planner…graduated from Clovis HS in 2006…competed in gymnastics and track and field for the Cougars…was twice named Tri-River Athletic Conference MVP…led the team to four TRAC titles…named all-conference all four years…named all-Central Section all four years and was all-state as a senior…was presented the Sassano Blanket Award which is given to the Clovis HS senior student-athlete based on inspiration, leadership, academics and performance…was a member of the National Honor Society…named one of Clovis Unified School District’s top 100 students…is a lifetime California Scholarship Federation member…volunteers for the Make-A-Wish Foundation…parents are Richard and Eileen Takeda.
