2006 Season: Continued to establish herself as one of the top bar workers in the West…was in the lineup for all 13 meets…averaged 9.638…finished first in four meets, including a tie at the Cal quad which featured UCLA…if you remove her two falls, she averaged 9.765 in the other 11 routines…scored at least 9.725 in 10 meets…top score of 9.875 came at the Cal quad…had a 9.850 the next week against San José State.
2005 Season: Qualified for the NCAA West Regional on bars and tied for 29th…won the MPSF bars title with a 9.900…recorded a 9.875 against Cal State Fullerton on March 18 and had four 9.850s during the year…averaged 9.654 during the year while competing in all 13 meets plus the regionals…finished first on bars seven times.
2004 Season: Redshirted during the year due to a knee injury.
Prior to Sacramento State: Trained with Golden Bear Gymnastics in Berkeley, Calif., and Golden Gate...was a two-time level 10 USAF regional qualifier on bars in 2000 and 2002...also placed in the top three on bars in five meets from 2000-2002, including a first-place finish at the Maui Invitational in 2000...finished second in the state on bars in 2002...was a state and regional all-around qualifier in 2000 and 2001...teamed with former Hornet Kimiye Narasaki at Golden Bear.
Personal: Born Jan. 21, 1985...graduated from Clayton Valley HS in Concord, Calif., in 2003...is an international business major…daughter of Chris and Thea Tsurumoto.
