GYMNASTICS MOVES UP FROM No. 29 TO No. 18 IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
SACRAMENTO, Calif.-- After the second meet of the season, the Sacramento
State gymnastics team has moved into the top 20 in the country with a
No. 18 ranking, it was announced Monday.
With a 193.912 team average, the Women’s National Rankings placed the
Hornets ahead of Iowa State, Oregon State, Arizona, Michigan State,
Arizona State and Utah State among others.
The Hornets also rank in the top 30 in uneven bars (ninth), floor
exercise (13th) and balance beam (23rd) while junior Wendy Baisdon, who
scored a 9.900 on bars in two-straight meets, ranks seventh nationally
in the event.
