Sacramento State tallied the top team score on floor with a 47.700. Freshman Marina Borisova finished fourth in the event with a 9.675 while sophomore Tiffany Bass tied for fifth at 9.650. Seniors Trista Condren and Carrie Kinghorn also placed in the top 10. Condren was eighth at 9.525 while Kinghorn was ninth at 9.500.

Sophomore Alexis Tsurumoto and Kinghorn paced the Hornets on bars as the pair tied for fifth with 9.750s. On beam, Bass was the top finisher on the team, ending the meet in sixth place with a 9.700. Courtney Hibler tied for seventh at 9.675. Borisova and sophomore Nicole Giao tied for the team high on vault at 9.575.

As a team, the Hornets finished higher than UC Davis and San Jose State on bars, beam and floor. Sacramento State also defeated the Aggies on vault but fell to the Spartans.

Stanford dominated the meet, claiming the top three spots on all four events. Tabitha Yim was first on vault (9.900), beam (9.875) on floor (9.925) and was also second on bars (9.900). Yim also won the all-around with a total of 39.600.

Sacramento State will next be in action on Sunday, Jan. 23, as the team hosts Cal State Fullerton and Alaska Anchorage at 2 p.m.
