Oklahoma won the team title at the event with a score of 197.100. Alabama also earned a trip to the NCAA Championships by placing second with a 196.900. Host Oregon State (196.85), Boise State (195.275), Cal (195.175) and Cal State Fullerton (193.000) completed the six-team field.

Sacramento State was represented by four gymnasts. Each regional had five at-large all-around selections and one individual specialist on each of the four events. Zaher and senior Binta Coleman each earned an all-around bid and finished in 18th and 19th place, respectively. Alabama’s Jeana Rice won the all-around title with a 39.550. Zaher amassed a 38.325 while Coleman scored 38.275 in her final collegiate meet.

Both Sacramento State all-arounders had three strong events but ended their aspirations to qualify for the NCAA Championships with one low score. Zaher’s top showing came on beam where she scored 9.875. The Cairo, Egypt native added a 9.750 on vault and a 9.675 on beam but struggled on floor with a 9.025.

Coleman recorded 9.725 on both vault and floor and a 9.600 on bars. The Elk Grove, Calif., native, however, received a 9.225 on beam.

Of the Hornets’ individual competitors, junior Stefanie Aeder tied for 16th on floor with a 9.825. Junior Meloney Greer tied for 25th on bars with a 9.625.
