2019 Season: Returned for injury midway through the year to become one of the top gymnasts of the team…led Sacramento State with an average of 9.820 on beam and ranked second won bars at 9.680…her beam average is the best in school history among gymnasts who had five routines during the year…was named the MPSF Specialist of the Week following her first two weeks back…scored 9.850 on bars and 9.825 on beam at Seattle Pacific to finish firs tin both events…the next week she again scored 9.850 on bars and raised her beam total of 9.875 against Cal/UC Davis…all five of her beam routines scored 9.750 or better…had three bar routines of 9.8-plus.
2018 Season: Named second team all-MPSF on bars…was a regular in the lineup on bars, beam and floor during the season…competed on bars and beam in 10 meets and was on floor in nine…finished first on bars in three meets with wins at Utah State and Seattle Pacific and at home against San Jose State/SPU…scored 9.875 in the three-team meet against SJSU and SPU for her season best…finished the year with an RQS of 9.780 on bars…best beam score was a career high 9.850 against SJSU/SPU…scored 9.825 on floor against Cal, Minnesota and Alaska Anchorage for her career best.
2017 Season: Returned from injury to compete on bars in seven meets…averaged 9.546 with an RQS of 9.585…scored 9.750 against UC Davis and Seattle Pacific in the home finale for her season high…averaged 9.750 over the final three meets of the year.
2016 Season: Competed on bars and beam during her first collegiate season…scored 9.900 on bars against San Jose State and helped the team set the school record on the event with a total of 49.400…top beam score was 9.800 in a three-team meet at Southern Utah.
Prior to Sacramento State: Trained at Flames Gymnastics Academy in Peoria, Ariz…finished sixth in the all-around out of 56 competitors at the 2015 Junior Olympics…scored 37.900 at the meet…placed third on beam, tied for 21st on floor ad tied for 25th on vault…was the Level 10 Arizona state Level 10 all-around champion and placed second on bars in 2014…that same season, she finished second in the all-around and was the beam champion at the Region 1 Level 10 championships and advanced to nationals…in 2013, she was the Arizona state floor champ for Level 10 and the bars champion in 2012.
Personal: Majoring in kinesiology…was home schooled…parents are Robert and Dawn Sampson.
