SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento State women's golf team has signed Ellese Dias to a National Letter of Intent, it was announced today by Director of Golf David Sutherland. Dias will enroll at the University as a freshman in the fall of 2010.
Dias comes to Sacramento State following a highly decorated career at Carondelet High School. This fall, she tied for medalist honors in the North Coast Section tournament after shooting 72. She also earned all-East Bay Athletic League honors the last two seasons and was the team MVP.
"Ellese is a terrific young player who can come in and contribute right away," Sutherland said. "She's spent the past few years as one of the top golfers in Northern California and we're excited to have her join the team."
