CHEN EARNS THIRD BIG SKY GOLFER OF THE WEEK AWARD 4/2/2009 OGDEN, Utah — For the second consecutive week and the third time this season, Sacramento State’s Justine Chen has been selected as the Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week. Chen, a freshman from Lake Forest, Calif., tied for 15th place at the UC Irvine Anteater Invitational, held March 30-April 1 at the Dove Canyon Country Club. Chen opened with a 78, followed with a four-over-par 75 and closed with a 77 for a 230. She was the top placer among Big Sky Conference golfers in the event, which included 14 teams and 75 players. She helped Sacramento State to a ninth-place finish, tops among the four league schools in the event. Sacramento State will next compete at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic in Chandler, Ariz., on Monday and Tuesday (April 6-7). The tournament will take place at the Ocatillo Golf Resort, the same course that will host the Big Sky Championships later in the month.
