HEATHER LeMASTER NAMED BIG SKY GOLFER OF THE WEEK

OGDEN, Utah — Sacramento State senior Heather LeMaster was named the Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week, it was announced today. The honor is the first for LeMaster this season and the first for her four-year career.

The Sacramento, Calif., native led the Hornets at the Kitahara Fresno State Invitational by shooting 75-74-149 and finishing in a tie for 13th place. Her score was nine strokes better than her closest teammate. In the final round on Tuesday, LeMaster overcame bogeys on the first three holes by playing the remaining 15 holes at 1-under.

This season, LeMaster leads the team with a per round average of 80.2. She also has five rounds of 77 or better which is the most on the team.

Sacramento State will next be in action March 10-12 when it travels to Las Vegas for the UNLV Rebel Classic. The team will host the Sacramento State Invitational March 31-April 1 as well as the NCAA West Regional (May 8-10). Both of those tournaments will take place at Lincoln Hills Golf Club.
