MARGAUX SHEEHAN NAMED BIG SKY GOLFER OF THE WEEK

OGDEN, Utah — Sacramento State senior Margaux Sheehan was named the Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week, it was announced today. The honor is the first for Sheehan this season and the third of her career.

At the Kitahara Fresno State Invitational, Sheehan led the Hornets with a 36-hole score of 151 to tie for 14th place. The Anchorage, Alaska, native shot 78 in the opening round before recording a 73 in the second round on Tuesday.

This season, Sheehan leads the team with an average of 78.1 in 13 rounds. She has also recorded 10 rounds of 79 or better.

Sacramento State will next be in action at the Bobcat Desert Classic beginning March 12. The tournament, which is hosted by Montana State, will be held in Goodyear, Ariz.
