Senior Courtney Cotter shot a final-round 72 to tie for sixth place to lead the women’s team. Cotter shot a 77 in the first round on Monday to end the tournament at 150, seven strokes behind the winner.

Santa Clara captured the team title while host Cal State Northridge was second. Hana Kim of UCLA was the medalist after shooting 74-69-143.

Jennifer Parkes and Margaux Sheehan also placed in the top 15 for the Hornets. Parkes shot 80-78-158 to tie for 12th while Sheehan tied for 15th at 78-82-160.

Sacramento State will conclude its spring season on April 19-21 at the Big Sky Conference Championship. The three-round event will take place in Phoenix, Ariz.

Bryan O’Malley led the men’s team with a tie for 11th place. O’Malley shot 69-79-70-218. Peter Campbell of UCLA was the medalist at 66-71-72-209.

The Master’s College won the team title with a total of 853. UCLA was second at 864 followed by IUPUI (880), the Hornets (892), LMU (900) and Notre Dame de Namur (906).
