Oregon won the tournament with a two-round total of 603. The Ducks shot rounds of 300 and 303 to finish six shots ahead of Idaho. Long Beach State was third, host Santa Clara fourth and Northern Iowa and Eastern Washington tied for fifth.

As a team, the Hornets shot 308 in the first round and were just eight shots out of first. The team, however, fired a round of 315 on Tuesday to end the tournament 20 shots behind Oregon.

Sheehan was the team’s top individual with rounds of 75 and 77. Oregon''s Michell Timpani was the medalist after defeating Lindsay Snowden of UC Riverside in a playoff.

Sacramento State senior Courtney Cotter tied for 27th with a total of 155. Jennifer Parkes tied for 37th, Sarah Kuykendall tied for 46th and Kathryn Cotter tied for 67th.

Sacramento State will next compete at the Cal State Northridge Tournament on April 5-6.
