Western Michigan entered the round six strokes behind first-round leader BYU. However, the Broncos counted two rounds of 72 and two 73’s to move into a tie for first. BYU finished one stroke behind in third place while Western New Mexico and Toledo completed the top five.

Lindsay Snowden of UC Riverside maintained her first-round lead with a second round of 75. Snowden finished the tournament at 146 and defeated three other players in a playoff to become the medalist.

Sacramento State was led by Margaux Sheehan who shot 76-77-153 to tie for 26th. Jennifer Parkes was four strokes behind Sheehan with a total of 77-80-157. Kathryn Cotter (79-81-160), Makayla Oei (78-85-163) and Courtney Cotter (86-81-167) rounded out the five for the Hornets.

The tournament was the first for the women during the spring season.
