SAN MARCOS, Calif. --- Three Colorado State golfers finished in the top 15 to help lead the Rams to the Lady Aztec Invitational team title Monday afternoon. CSU shot 626 in the two-round tournament held at the Lake San Marcos Country Club.Sacramento State placed 20th in the 20 team field. The tournament was the first of the spring season for the Hornets.
Hwarhee Lee of UNLV took home medalist honors. Lee shot rounds of 76 and 74 for a total of 150, edging Mayumi Motoyama of Colorado State by one stroke. Stella Lee of UC Irvine (152) took third and Washington's Kelly Kamimura and San Diego State’s Sandy Kim tied for fourth with a 153.
Sacramento State finished 77 strokes behind Colorado State in the team standings. The Hornets were led by Christy Ferrero who tied for 47th with a total of 167.
