As a sophomore (2012): Competed with the second varsity eight in all but one race during the spring…sat in the six seat in her first three races with the boat before sitting in the five seat her final five races…assumed the five seat for the second varsity eight’s silver-medal winning performance at the WIRA Championships…sat in the three seat with the second varsity four at the Sacramento State Invitational.

As a freshman (2011): Competed with the second varsity eight during the boat’s first eight races before missing the remainder of the spring with illness…sat at the seven seat in her first four races, and the five seat her last four races…also raced with the varsity four against UC Davis.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Fred C. Beyer High School in Modesto, Calif…competed four years of swimming and three years of water polo…was an all-league selection in water polo.

Personal: Parents are Michael and Jennifer Higa…an undeclared major…has a 7:32.5 time on the 2,000-meter erg test.
