As a freshman (2012):
Competed with the novice eight in every race but the season-opening Sacramento State Invitational…with the novice eight, she sat at bow four times, stroke three times and the four seat on one occasion…sat at bow with the bronze medal winning novice eight at the WIRA Championships…also stroked the team’s collegiate four entry to a bronze medal at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships…stroked the second novice four against UC Davis.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Chaparral High School in Parker, Colo…played four years of volleyball, basketball and track & field for the Wolverines…an academic all-state selection in all three sports during her junior and senior years…helped the volleyball team to back-to-back regional championships in 2009 and 2010…that included a state championship, league title and a 30-1 overall record in 2010…earned a total of nine athletic letters during her high school career…named Chaparral’s Senior Female Athlete of the Year in 2011.

Personal: Parents are Doug and Gillian Hartman…a mathematics major… has a personal-best time of 7:26.0 on the 2,000-meter ergometer test.
